I finally found a good Korean restaurant on Telegraph Ave. in Oakland. I've been going to their El Cerrito location. The food tastes good and authentic. I enjoyed this very clean location and its service. We ordered two combo dishes ( I recommend the Galbi ): 1. Mandu and rice cake soup. Their mandus are huge and tasty; the soup and rice cake parts were seasoned and cooked just right. If you want comfort rice cake soup, this will be it. 2. Bibim naengmyeon. The bibim naengmyeon noodles and not-too-spicy sauce were perfect. 3. Bossam: Served with lettuce and special sauces, but I feel like I was missing one more side that usually comes with the Bossam dish, which is spicy radish that you add inside the Bossam. 4. Chive pancake. I thought it was a tad thicker than I wanted, but my children loved it. Their side dishes were nicely presented and fresh, especially the fresh Kimchi (geot-jeori). Side dishes are refillable. Overall, this will be the only Korean restaurant I'd visit whenever I'm in Oakland.

Bibimbap here has the crispy bottom usually found in Cantonese claypot rice- seriously insane. Seafood pancake is also great, they practically deep fried the whole thing. Wasn't super impressed w tofu soup or the giant dumplings but still solid

Temescal now has a neighborhood Korean joint now that Bowl’d left Oakland. Standard Korean fare including yummy Banchan, seafood pancakes, k-fried chicken, bim-b-bap and BBQ (on the table). Something for everyone.

You can tell if a Korean restaurant is good just by their banchan. And I fell in love with their banchan instantly and finished the rice even before my soup came 🤣 the tofu and the spinach banchan are my favorites! And our main dishes are also super delicious! So flavorful and not too salty! Haven't had such great korean food for a while. Service is great too. Everything can be ordered through touch pad including water, hot tea and banchan refill! Will definitely come again :)

Delicious galbijjim that is perfectly savory and umami. The beef was tender and the rice cakes perfectly chewy. We also ordered the chive pancake and it was really crispy. My new favorite Korean spot in the bay.
